Braeside Residence is an 8 bed group home, operated by OCAPDD/OH. Thanks to collaborations with St. Stephens, the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa and St. Thomas’ Church, Braeside opened in February 2008, in response to the call to provide community housing solutions upon closure of Rideau Regional Centre.

The Ottawa Carleton Association for Persons with Developmental Disabilities and Open Hands provides residential, community, recreational and employment supports to over 800 adults living with developmental disabilities in the Ottawa and Cornwall regions. We believe in person centred supports that assist individuals in living their best life.
