We recognize that we are fortunate to have a large property on a main city street, we have sought to put that property to its best social use. We have an established seniors’ apartment building, Ellwood House, which we are in the process of expanding. Our campus also hosts Braeside House, a residence for adults with developmental disabilities. We have also established a Community Garden, which has allowed us to use our parish property in a practical way to address food security issues.

St Thomas’s building hosts many ministries! Our building is very important to our community. It provides a key community meeting place – a resource that we must not overlook. St Thomas hosts the 69th Boy Scout Troop, the Harmonia Choir, the Engineers’ Wives Association, and the Cross Town Youth Chorus. Alcoholics Anonymous meets at St Thomas. We provide one of the Kiwanis Music Festival sites, and host many other concerts and recitals. In addition, it provides a ‘home’ for the following important services and activities. Other faith groups worship in our sanctuary, and community groups rent our facilities on reasonable terms.

Please see the various groups below who are involved in our campus, and how to rent church facilities
